Is it free to list my truck?
Yes. Listing is free. We also offer a paid setup service (a Google Business Profile, a website, AI-search readiness) as a separate, optional product — it has nothing to do with being listed here.
Do I need an account to find a truck?
No. Browsing the map and the directory never requires an account, a login, or any personal information.
How reliable is the hours/location/permit information?
It’s exactly what the truck’s owner entered, self-reported and not independently verified by us. Confirm directly with the truck before making a special trip.
Where does the information about trucks come from?
The first two listings (Latino Bites, Tacos Bravos NY) came from public research as a starting seed and are marked as drafts until those owners confirm them. Every listing after that comes directly from the truck owner through "List your truck."
What does the permit note mean?
NYC caps mobile food vending permits, so we show whether an owner says they hold one — self-reported, not verified by us. We may add real verification later.
How do I find trucks near me?
Use "Food trucks near me" on the home page. Your browser asks permission, then computes distance on your own device — your location is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re launching with Northern Blvd in Queens. Warren St, Corona Plaza and Red Hook are mapped internally and will open as their own hubs next.
I’m a truck owner — how do I create or edit my profile?
Submit "List your truck" with your truck name, neighborhood, phone and email. Once we approve it (usually within a few days), you get your own profile to fill in everything else — cuisine, hours, menu, photos, socials, delivery links.
I’m a truck owner — why doesn’t my profile show up yet?
New submissions are reviewed by hand before they go live. If it’s been more than a few days, email us.
How do I sign back in to edit my profile later?
Use the private link we gave you when you were approved — it never expires and needs no password. If you’ve lost it, email us and we’ll help.
How do I update my email, or hand the truck off to a new owner?
Email us — changing the email on file (which is also how you sign in) always goes through a person, so a business changing hands can’t be hijacked by someone else self-editing it.
How do I remove my truck from the site entirely?
Email us and we’ll delete your listing. It’s immediate and permanent.
Is my data protected?
See our Privacy Policy for the full picture. Short version: your data is stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure, we don’t sell it, and we don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.
