1. Who we are

Caravana del Sabor is a product of ConectaNYC. For any question about this policy or your data, email us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

From truck owners: when you sign up, we collect your truck name, neighborhood, phone number and email. If approved, also whatever you add to your profile — cuisine, hours, exact location, menu (PDF), photos, social links, delivery links, and whether you self-report holding a vending permit. All of this is entered by you directly and is published on your public listing once approved.

From visitors: browsing the map and directory never requires an account or any personal data. If you use "Food trucks near me," your browser shares your location with your own device only, to compute distance — it is never sent to or stored on our servers.

3. What we don’t collect

We don’t use tracking or targeted-advertising cookies. We don’t sell your data to third parties. We don’t collect any data from visitors who are just looking for trucks.

4. Legal basis

We process truck owners’ data on the basis of your consent, given when you voluntarily submit your listing.

5. Where your data is stored

Data is stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure (D1 database and R2 file storage), in Cloudflare data centers in North America.

6. Who we share data with

We don’t sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your truck listing — once published — is public by design. We may disclose data if required by law or a competent authority.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your listing while it’s active. If you request deletion, we remove it from our systems immediately and permanently.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its processing. As a truck owner, you can edit your profile directly or email [email protected]. Changing the email on file (your sign-in) requires contacting us directly, to protect against unauthorized business handoffs.

9. Children

Caravana del Sabor is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit, and owner sign-in is protected by Cloudflare Access. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
